Armenia confirms 2,556 new Covid cases on Jan. 27
Armenia has confirmed 2,556 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 358,218 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, January 27, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 7,407 Covid-19 tests were conducted on January 26.
264 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 334,960.
The Covid-19 death toll has increased by two to 8,035. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,526 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 13,697 active cases. As many as 2,700,366 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
