Senior Armenian officials visit Yerablur on Army Day
High-ranking Armenian officials visited the Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan on the Army Day to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers.
Today, January 28, marks the 30th anniversary of the Armenian Armed Forces.
Nikol Pashinyan has contracted Covid-19 and has self-isolated.
The highest leadership of Armenia visiting Yerablur includes Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, Deputy Prime Ministers Mher Grigoryan, Hambardzum Matevosyan, and others. They laid flowers at the servicemen's graves.
In response to a journalist's question whether Armenia had learned lessons from the defeat of the 44-day war, Mirzoyan said: "We have to learn lessons, we must increase our defense capacities and revitalize the army, just like all other institutions. We have no other option.”
