Armenia reports 4,388 new Covid cases on Feb. 3
Armenia has confirmed 4,388 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 379,266 as of 11 a.m. Thursday, February 3, the Ministry of Health reports.
Overall, 9,595 Covid-19 tests were conducted on February 2.
2,359 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 343,714.
5 new Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the country, taking the death toll to 8,065. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,543 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 25,944 active cases. As many as 2,754,131 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
