Snow, icy road conditions reported in Armenia
Some roads are closed in Armenia as of Friday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the roads connecting Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province remain closed.
Vardenyats Pass and Saravan-Zanger roadway are open to trailer trucks (chains need to be applied).
Roads of Syunik Province are icy in places.
Snowfall is reported in Vayots Dzor Province and the town of Aparan in Aragatsotn Province.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all vehicles.
