Armenia reports 2,486 fresh Covid cases on Feb. 8
Armenia has confirmed 2,486 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 394,074 as of 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, according to data released by the Ministry of Health.
Overall, 6,807 Covid-19 tests were conducted on February 7.
3,180 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 356,165.
Five new Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the country, taking the official death toll to 8,102. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,556 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 28,251 active cases. As many as 2,790,095 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
