Armenian military denies firing at Azerbaijani positions
The Defense Ministry of Armenia refutes Azerbaijani reports that Armenian forces have allegedly fired across the border at Azerbaijani combat positions.
“The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spread disinformation yet again, suggesting that the Armenian army units opened fire at Azerbaijani positions deployed in the Karvachar section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on 11 February,” the ministry said in a statement.
The situation along the border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian military, it added.
