Armenia reports 1,417 new Covid cases on Feb. 18
Armenia has confirmed 1,417 new cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the national tally to 413,295 as of 11 a.m. Friday, February 18, according to data released by the Ministry of Health.
Overall, 5,659 Covid-19 tests were conducted on February 17.
2,825 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 386,193.
25 new Covid-19 deaths have been reported in the country, taking the official death toll to 8,278. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,585 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 17,239 active cases. As many as 2,851,836 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
