Some roads closed, difficult to pass in Armenia
Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in Armenia as of Friday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the roads connecting Amberd high mountain meteorological station with Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province remain closed.
Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trailer trucks (chains need to be applied).
Aghvani-Halidzor roadway (difficult to pass) of Syunik Province and Dilijan turns of Tavush Province are partly icy.
Fog is reported in Gyumri, a city in Shirak Province, as well as over Goris-Kapan highway of Syunik Province.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all traffic.
