Artsakh's parliament didn't broadcast live debates on occupied territories bill
The National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) commenced a special sitting on Friday morning. The package of bills on the Azerbaijani-occupied territories of Artsakh and on amending the Civil Code, as well as a draft statement on the Artsakh Revival Day are on the agenda.
A total of 30 lawmakers were present at the sitting.
MP Artur Harutyunyan was picked as a keynote speaker to present the package of draft laws on the Artsakh territories occupied by Azerbaijan and on amendments to the Civil Code.
Before giving him the floor, the parliament speaker said that the leaders of the five factions had proposed not to broadcast live the debates on the first item on the agenda.
Afterwards, the livestream was interrupted and resumed during the debates on the second issue.
