Armenian military urges Azerbaijan to stop spreading disinformation
Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry continues repeatedly spreading disinformation, accusing the Armenian army of opening fire at Azerbaijani combat positions in various sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
Particularly, late in the evening of February 18, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry released a statement alleging that on the same day the Armenian military fired on the Azerbaijani combat positions deployed in the north-eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“The Armenian Defense Ministry calls on the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan to refrain from the practice of spreading fake news about the border situation, which does not anyway contribute to stability on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,” reads the statement.
