Situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border relatively stable, military says
The Defense Ministry of Armenia refutes Azerbaijani reports that Armenian forces have allegedly fired across the border at Azerbaijani combat positions.
“The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spread disinformation yet again, suggesting that the Armenian army units opened fire at Azerbaijani positions deployed in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on February 23,” the ministry said in a statement.
The situation along the border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian military, it added.
