February securities market data at Armenia Securities Exchange
The insights of the February at Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX) have shown a surge of market and trade values of securities in comparison with February, 2021, AMX said on Monday.
On the primary auction platform of AMX the allocation volume of government bonds has increased to ֏37 billion, compared with the same period in 2021.
Trade value of the government bonds in February made ֏10.4 bn – exceeding February, 2021 result by 432% (over 5 times). Total 81 trades have been concluded with treasury government bonds.
Corporate bonds show the same dynamic growth both in market value and trade value of securities compared to the indices of the same period last year. Market value of this month grew 8.2%, reaching ֏497.2 bn.
Trade value in February, 2021 exceeded 57%, reaching over ֏6.3 bn, with 241 trades concluded.
The number of corporate bonds traded at AMX reached 101.
Number of REPO agreements has increased, reaching ֏3.2 bn. This index shows 26% growth compared to the same period last year.
The same increase in dynamics can be seen in equity data. Trade value increased to ֏54 mln, the market capitalization surged by 90%, reaching the total sum of ֏260.3 bn, with 92 trades concluded.
