Border situation relatively stable after March 7 Azeri provocation – Armenian military
Azerbaijan continues spreading disinformation, accusing the Armenian military of firing on Azerbaijani combat positions in various sections of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Particularly, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry released a statement that on Tuesday morning the Armenian army allegedly opened fire at Azerbaijani positions deployed in the western section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“The statement is completely false,” the ministry said.
“After the Azerbaijani provocation in the border section on March 7, the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian armed forces,” reads the statement.
One Armenian serviceman was killed and another was wounded after Armenian positions deployed near the village of Yeraskh came under Azerbaijani gunfire on Monday.
