Armenian boxers to compete at U22 European Championships
Armenian boxers are set to compete at the EUBC U22 European Boxing Championships to be held in Porec, Croatia on March 12-24.
The Armenian team led by head coach Karen Aghamalyan left for the championship on Friday, the National Olympic Committee said.
Gayane Ter-Barseghyan (48 kg), Arevik Dokhoyan (52 kg) and Elita Kocharyan (60 kg) will represent Armenian in the Women's Boxing Championships.
The men’s team includes Seyran Yeghikyan (48 kg), Henrik Sahakyan (52 kg), Erik Tokhyan (54 kg), Ruslan Aslikyan (57 kg), Artur Sahakyan (60 kg), Artur Shahbazyan (63.5 kg), Harutyun Hakobkokhyan (67 kg), Narek Zakaryan (71 kg), Vakhtang Harutyunyan (75 kg), Gor Nersisyan (80 kg), Henrik Tsghikyan (86 kg) and super heavyweight boxer Hovhannes Papazyan.
