Shell exploded near building in Artsakh’s Askeran region – Prosecutor's Office
The Artsakh law enforcement agencies continue to reveal consequences of the shots fired by the Azerbaijani military towards the communities of the Askeran region of the Artsakh Republic in the recent days, the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office said on Saturday.
"As reported earlier, in recent days the Azerbaijani troops deployed in various sections of the Artsakh-Azerbaijani line of contact opened fire at the Khramort, Parukh and Khnapat communities of Artsakh's Askeran region using firearms of various calibers,” it said.
The law enforcement authorities of Artsakh continue the process of documenting criminal acts against the Armenians of Artsakh and collecting evidence.
“During the evidence collection another incident was documented in the village of Parukh in Askeran. A 60 mm mortar shell had exploded in the yard of a community building, causing damage to the property,” the Prosecutor's Office said.
