State minister: Over 100,000 people in Artsakh fully deprived of gas heating
Over 100,000 people in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are fully deprived of gas heating and hot water as the Azerbaijani military does not allow Artsakh to fix the damaged gas pipeline, State Minister Artak Beglaryan said on Saturday.
“It’s 0-°C w/ snowing in Artsakh/Nagorno-Karabakh. For 5 days over 100,000 people (80% of the whole population) are fully deprived of gas heating & hot water,” he tweeted.
“Azerbaijan doesn’t allow to repair the only gas pipeline coming from #Armenia which exploded under their control,” Beglaryan noted.
In addition, the Azerbaijani troops continue targeting civilian settlements in Artsakh, using firearms and mortars.
“Azerbaijan wants to continue its crimes against humanity and evict Armenians from Artsakh, but we stand firm in our ancestral homeland and nothing can shake our will,” the minister said.
