Armenian FM briefs OSCE envoy on Azerbaijani invasion of Artsakh village
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Friday met with Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, the Foreign Ministry reported.
Mirzoyan spoke about the Azerbaijani invasion of the village of Parukh, an area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), which began on March 24, Azerbaijan's efforts to disrupt the operation of vital infrastructures as well as other actions aimed at ethnic cleansing.
The need for the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani troops to their starting positions was stressed.
Mirzoyan presented the Armenian side's position on the talks with Azerbaijan over a peace treaty, emphasizing the mediating role of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship.
