Azerbaijan withdraws troops from Karabakh village, Russia says
Azerbaijan has withdrawn its troops from the village of Parukh (Furukh) in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), TASS reported on Sunday, citing the Russian defense ministry.
"Following the talks, the Azerbaijani side pulled its units from the area near the settlement of Furukh," it said.
Russia has reported two ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani troops in Nagorno-Karabakh, four people were wounded, the Russian defense ministry said on Sunday in a bulletin on the activities of Russia’s peacekeeping contingent in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
"Two ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces were reported in the Askeran district. Four people (two on both sides) were wounded," it said, adding that the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent jointly with the representatives of the parties to the conflict stabilized the situation.
