Armenian journalists' team wins Egypt football tournament
The Armenian journalists have been crowned champions of the 10th International Football Tournament for Media and Journalists held in Hurghada, Egypt on March 23-25, winning the gold medals and the Super Cup, the journalists’ national team said on Facebook.
A total of 10 teams, five from Egypt and five from other countries, including from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, Senegal, and Romania, took part in this year’s tournament.
The Armenian journalists’ team celebrated four victories and suffered one defeat. Alexandria’s team of sports reporters came in second, and Moldova’s team finished third.
Bagrat Kazumyan was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
Incidentally, the Armenian team took the second place in the tournaments of 2019 and 2021.
