New gas prices come into effect in Armenia
New natural gas prices set by Armenia’s energy regulator have today taken effect in the country.
The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) decided to raise the gas price by 4․7 drams to 143.7 drams per cubic meter at a meeting on March 1.
The gas tariff for low-income families, who use up to 600 cubic meters of natural gas a year, remains unchanged at 100 drams per cubic meter.
The PSRC also approved gas price increases for businesses, including greenhouses and food-processing companies, by around 4%.
