Georgian parliament speaker to visit Armenia
Speaker of Georgia’s Parliament Shalva Papuashvili will pay an official visit to Armenia on April 5-6, the press service of the legislative body said.
Papuashvili will hold a series of meetings with top Armenian officials, including Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan, President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
The Georgian official is also scheduled to meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II.
This is Papuashvili’s first official visit to Armenia as speaker of the Georgian parliament. He took over as chairman of the legislative body at the end of December 2021, TASS said.
