Armenian military denies shelling Azerbaijani positions
The Defense Ministry of Armenia denies reports that Armenian forces have allegedly fired across the border at Azerbaijani combat positions.
“The statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry suggesting that the Armenian army units shelled Azerbaijani military positions deployed in the northeastern border section of the Republic of Armenia in the evening of 6 April is false,” the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian military, it added.
