Georgia reports 273 new Covid cases
Georgian authorities have reported 273 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the tally of the total confirmed cases to 1,650,981, Civil Georgia reported on Friday.
In the meantime, 577 patients have recovered, taking the overall number of recoveries to 1,630,564. The number of COVID-related fatalities rose by 1 to 16,766.
The number of active cases to date stands at 3,625.
Out of the 273 new cases, 101 were reported in Tbilisi, the capital; followed by Imereti – 37, Kakheti – 21, Shida Kartli – 21, Guria – 21, Kvemo Kartli – 19, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 17, Adjara – 17, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 7, Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 6, Samtskhe-Javakheti – 6.
