Armenian FM briefs CSTO chief on situation after Azerbaijani invasion of Artsakh village
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas in Moscow on Friday, the Foreign Ministry reported.
The sides discussed the current activity of the CSTO, the implementation of the Collective Security Council decisions as well as the calendar of upcoming events.
They stressed the importance of implementing Armenia’s chairmanship priorities to develop the organization’s potential.
Mirzoyan stressed the need for continued efforts aimed at improving the CSTO crisis response mechanisms.
The Armenian FM briefed the CSTO chief on the situation after the Azerbaijani invasion of Artsakh's Parukh village and the adjacent territories which are in the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
Stanislav Zas presented the security situation and the current challenges in the CSTO zone and informed about the process of harmonization of documents within the CSTO.
