Prince William and Kate Middleton 'declined' invitation to Brooklyn Beckham's wedding
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge turned down an invitation to Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz's wedding, Daily Mail said, citing reports.
The groom's parents David, 46, and Victoria Beckham, 47, are said to have written to Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, to invite them to the $3.5million extravaganza in Palm Beach, Florida.
The royal couple, who had the Beckhams as guests at their 2011 wedding, politely declined.
A source close to the Beckhams told the Daily Mirror: 'David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son's wedding, and William replied wishing them a great deal of joy but they are unable to attend.'
David and Victoria also attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's wedding in 2018, prompting speculation Harry and Meghan might also be invited to Brooklyn's wedding.
The fashion designer is thought to be close friends with Meghan, following the royal's permanent move to the US. The Duchess of Sussex is often photographed wearing Victoria's designs.
