'When I am Sad': Armenian-French animated film premieres in Yerevan
“When I am Sad”, an Armenian-French animated short film by Lilit Altunyan, premiered in Yerevan on Tuesday, April 12.
The production company is Hoshkee Film (co-production by Folimage, France). The scriptwriters are Lilit Altunyan and Armine Anda, the producer is Armine Anda, the film score has been written by Miqayel Voskanyan.
The film stars Armine Anda (Armenian Voice), Nairi Khatchadourian (French Voice) and Victoria Aleksanyan (English Voice).
“When I am Sad” tells the story of the smile that travels through the world of sadness transformed by emotions and thoughts. It is the first co-produced Armenian animation film.
The film had its world premiere at the Animest International Animation Film Festival in Romania on October 15, 2021.
