Cavusoglu: Armenian, Turkish envoys to hold third meeting in Vienna
The special envoys of Armenia and Turkey will hold a third round of normalization talks in Vienna, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said.
In the meantime, he stressed the need to hold such meetings in Armenia or Turkey, RIA Novosti reported.
"If we are talking about normalization of relations, why not hold meetings in Turkey or Armenia? We have expressed such readiness," Cavusoglu said in an interview with NTV, adding that the third meeting of the special envoys will be held in Vienna.
The Armenian and Turkish special representatives, Ruben Rubinyan and Serdar Kilic, held their first and secod meetings in Moscow and Vienna, respectively, in early 2022. The diplomats confirmed that the ultimate goal of the negotiations is the full normalization of relations between the two countries.
