Police detain two men in Yerevan square
Police have detained two men following an ancient in Yerevan’s Liberty Square where an indefinite hunger strike and a sit-in have been taking place for several days now.
An apparently drunk man approached the two hunger strikers, who are participants in the 44-day war in Artsakh, and started swearing at them. Afterwards, one of the opposition activists slapped the man. As a result, both of them were taken to the police station.
"Two people were detained on suspicion of beating. Reports are being prepared at the Central Police Department," the police told Panorama.am.
