Young opposition activists protest outside universities in Yerevan
A group of young opposition activists on Tuesday held anti-government protests outside the buildings of universities in Yerevan, urging students to join the fight for Artsakh and Armenia.
“Come out and join the fight! Artsakh can never be a part of Azerbaijan,” the protesters shouted.
They first installed the Artsakh flag at the yard of the Armenian State University of Economics.
Afterwards, the young activists, who were holding a huge flag of Artsakh, continued the awareness march outside the other universities of Yerevan, chanting “Wake up!” and “Struggle!”.
The demonstrators next marched to the government building to give Nikol Pashinyan a “gift”.
"We have brought him essentials that he will need in prison, where he will definitely end up," said one of the protesters before being detained by police officers.
The activists pledged to continue fighting.
