Moscow prepares to host CSTO summit in May, Kremlin says
Preparations for the anniversary summit of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) scheduled for May in Moscow are underway. The date of this meeting has already been set but will be announced later, TASS reported, citing Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov,
Earlier on Friday, the press service of Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the country's leader thanked "for the invitation to participate in the anniversary meeting of heads of the CSTO member states in mid-May in Moscow."
"It [the date] has been set, and preparations for such a meeting have started and are underway. We will inform you about the exact date in due time," Peskov said in response to a corresponding question.
