Armenian expert dismisses talk of lasting peace with Baku's barbaric regime as 'illusion'
Expert on Iran Vardan Voskanyan has reacted to the latest statement of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that despite Azerbaijan’s defeat in the 1990s war and international pressure to "accept the realities" and come to terms with the existence of the Artsakh statehood, he refused to do so because he could not allow the formation of "another fake Armenian state on the Azerbaijani lands."
“The statement makes it clear that the Baku dictator considers the Republic of Armenia as the second ‘fake’ state allegedly formed on ‘Azerbaijani territories,” the expert wrote on Telegram on Saturday.
“It is obvious that the barbaric regime of the artificial entity called Azerbaijan considers not only two Armenian states as "fake", but also tries to deprive us of our legitimate right to have Armenian land. Therefore, establishing lasting and sustainable peace with the barbarians is from the realm of illusions, and our far-reaching vision should be to remove the malignant tumor called Azerbaijan from the body of our region,” Voskanyan said.
