Police detain hundreds of opposition protesters in Yerevan
Police officers detained 120 opposition activists and supporters who blocked traffic in central Yerevan on Monday morning, protesting against the incumbent Armenian authorities, the police told Panorama.am.
Some lawyers and MPs taking part in the peaceful civil disobedience alerted about police brutalities against protesters.
As a result of the police actions, a protester was injured at the intersection of Baghramyan and Proshyan Streets in downtown Yerevan, losing consciousness. An ambulance took him to hospital.
