Armenian military denies firing at Azerbaijani positions
The Defense Ministry of Armenia denies reports of firing at Azerbaijani combat positions on Sunday.
“The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has once again released a false statement suggesting that the Armenian army units opened fire at Azerbaijani military positions deployed in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border using firearms and grenade launchers on May 1,” the ministry said in a statement on Monday.
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian military, it added.
