Armenia records no new Covid cases in 24 hours
The Armenian health authorities said on Tuesday that no new coronavirus infections were confirmed in the past 24 hours. The national tally stands at 422,874.
Overall, 1,745 Covid-19 tests were administered on May 2, the Ministry of Health said.
16 more patients have recovered from the disease with the total number of recoveries now standing at 412,019.
No new Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in the country and the official death toll remains unchanged at 8,622. The figure does not include the deaths of 1,683 other people carrying the virus. According to the health authorities, they were caused by other diseases.
Armenia now has 549 active cases. As many as 3,057,702 tests have been performed in the country since the disease outbreak.
