Armenia denies firing at Azerbaijani positions
The Defense Ministry of Armenia has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of cross-border shootings.
“The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has once again released a false statement suggesting that the Armenian army units opened fire at Azerbaijani combat positions deployed in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in the evening of May 9,” the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian military, it added.
