Opposition activists hold car protests in Yerevan
The Armenian opposition on Wednesday resumed protests in support of Artsakh and against Nikol Pashinyan, with car rallies being held in various parts of Yerevan.
One of the young Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) activists taking part in the rally claims that the protest campaign is gaining traction.
He says the provocations against young ARF members during protests are aimed at making them “lose heart”.
“Mostly, we don’t succumb to provocations, but in some cases hot-tempered young men may give in to them, which the authorities are using against this campaign. However, the struggle continues and is further intensifying, because our demand is just,” he said.
MP Tadevos Avetisyan from the opposition Hayastan alliance stresses that they are determined to fight to the end.
“We have no room to retreat. We are getting closer to victory step by step,” he said.
