ARF activist Gerasim Vardanyan arrested
Gerasim Vardanyan, a member of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) party, has been arrested for one month, his lawyer Benik Galstyan said on Thursday.
“Judge David Arghamanyan partially granted a motion filed by investigator Suren Navoyan to remand ARF activist Gerasim Vardanyan into custody for one month,” the lawyer wrote on Facebook.
“It will have zero impact on Geras, as he will continue to fight," Galstyan said.
ARF is one of the Armenian opposition groups holding protests in the country for over a week to demand Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation.
