Oppositionist: Hard work awaits next Armenian government
Lawyer Arsen Babayan, a senior member of the opposition Homeland Party, has hit back at the criticism over the actual goals of the opposition holding anti-government protests in Armenia for more than a week.
"Those who claim that our struggle is for power simply have no idea of the public administration,” he wrote on Facebook on Thursday.
“You just have no idea what kind of hard work awaits the next government, especially in the executive branch. You have no idea how difficult it will be to restore the ruined state system.
“That being said, we have to remember that salaries in the public sector are definitely not the highest. Moreover, illegal bonuses and other extra payments must be rooted out. I don't envy the next authorities!” Babayan said.
