Crosstech Solutions Group takes part in CYBERGEN conference in Armenia
Crosstech Solutions Group took part in a CYBERGEN cyber security conference held in Armenia.
Nikita Andreyanov, the CTO of Crosstech Solutions Group, a Russian developer and distributor of information security solutions, spoke at the conference, presenting report "Applicability of Artificial Intelligence in Information Security".
The forum was attended by representatives from the banking and financial sectors, as well as from information security service providers. Reports were presented by speakers from such companies as Mandiant, SAP, Kaspersky, SimSpace, Group-IB, R-Vision and many others. The conference took place in Dilijan, Armenia, from May 4 to May 6.
As part of his report, the expert from Crosstech Solutions Group examined the issue of increasing the enterprise protection level by using artificial intelligence tools in information security. He also gave accounts of products having implemented this feature and shared his opinion on the effectiveness of this solutions.
“Today, there are several classes of solutions that successfully apply modern artificial intelligence technologies. Due to well-tuned algorithms for clustering and statistical analysis modern UEBA solutions accurately form profiles of user’s behavior and assets (behavioral baseline). After that the classification algorithms and regression analysis help to search the anomalies in built profiles of behavior, on the basis of which classical correlation rules identify possible incidents. The algorithms of machine learning allow you to reveal sensitive data in comprehensive NoSQL storage using NLP analysis, thereby identifying potential data leaks at an early stage. Obviously, there are some other classes of information security solutions, in which the artificial intelligence technologies are used. Machine learning is already actively used in many classes of IS tools — it made it possible to take a serious step in the development of information security and increase the level of safety of the organizations. However, we shouldn’t forget that intruders constantly improve their methods and instruments of attacks, “said Nikita Andreyanov, Crosstech Solutions Group CTO.
