MP Hayk Mamijanyan not to join Armenian parliamentary delegation in Switzerland trip
Hayk Mamijanyan, the secretary of the opposition With Honor (Pativ Unem) parliamentary faction, will not travel to Switzerland as part of an Armenian parliamentary delegation, he said on Monday.
"Several months ago I was involved in the work of advancing our national agenda in Switzerland through party diplomacy channels, and upon learning that an Armenian parliamentary delegation was scheduled to visit Bern, I, as the deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, expressed a desire to be part of the delegation,” the lawmaker wrote on Facebook.
“Given the rapid anti-Armenian developments in the Artsakh issue and the decisive stage of the national struggle, I will stay in Yerevan next to my sisters and brothers.
“At the same time, I will continue to be useful to our country on the foreign front, this time remotely,” Mamijanyan said.
