Paris mayor arrives in Armenia on official visit
Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo has arrived in Armenia on an official visit, the Yerevan municipality reports.
First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan met her at Zvartnots International Airport on Thursday, expressing hope that during meetings in the city hall the parties will not only discuss the programs which have already been implemented, but will also agree on new areas of cooperation.
Thankful for the warm welcome, Hidalgo assured that the French capital is ready to support the city, which gave Paris the idea of opening their own TUMO Center for Creative Technologies.
During the visit, Hidalgo is expected to meet with Yerevan Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan. Issues related to further cooperation between the capitals of Armenia and France are on the agenda.
