Armenia denies Azerbaijan's reports of shelling
The Defense Ministry of Armenia denies reports that Armenian troops allegedly fired at Azerbaijani combat positions on Monday.
“The statement of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry that the Armenian army units allegedly shelled Azerbaijani military positions deployed in the eastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border using firearms of various calibers on 30 May is false,” the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is relatively stable and is fully controlled by the Armenian military, it added.
