Temperatures to reach 37C in Yerevan next week
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Armenia over the weekend, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible.
No precipitation is predicted on June 20-21.
The southwestern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds up to 23 m/s are expected during thunderstorms.
Temperatures are set to gradually rise by 2-4 degrees across Armenia on June 18-19.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the Armenian capital, Yerevan, on June 18. No precipitation is forecast for June 19-21.
Highs of 37C are expected in the city on June 21.
