Armenian Embassy reports brief meeting of Makunts and Biden 11 days after it
Lilit Makunts, a member of Nikol Pashinyan's Civil Contract party and Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, held a meeting with US President Joe Biden on June 13.
“On June 13, 2022 Amabassador Makunts had a brief meeting with the US President Joe Biden as part of an event for newly appointed Ambassadors to the US,” the Armenian Embassy in Washington said in a Facebook post on Saturday.
It is not clear why the embassy reported the meeting 11 days later.
Incidentally, the embassy limited who can comment on the post.
