Magnitude 3․7 quake hits Armenia-Georgia border area
The Territorial Survey for Seismic Protection of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded a magnitude 3․7 earthquake in the Armenia-Georgia border area early on Monday morning.
The earthquake struck 13 km north-east of the village of Bavra in Shirak Province at a depth of 10 km.
The tremor measured 5 points on the MSK scale at the epicenter.
The jolts were felt in several villages of Shirak and Lori Provinces, including in Bavra, Saragyugh, Tavshut, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, Musayelyan, Paghaghbyur, Metsavan and Dzoramut, as well as in the towns of Tashir and Vanadzor.
