Rain, thunderstorms expected in Armenia
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Armenia from 29 June to July 4, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible.
The southwestern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds of up to 22 m/s are expected during thunderstorms. Winds of up to 18 m/s are forecast in the Ararat valley in the evening.
Daytime temperatures are set to gradually increase by 2-3C on June 29-30 to drop as much in Lori, Tavush, Syunik Provinces and Artsakh.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the Armenian capital, Yerevan, from June 29 to July 2. No precipitation is forecast for July 3-4.
