Rain, thunderstorms and strong winds expected in Armenia
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Armenia from July 1 to 4, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible. No precipitation is forecast for July 5-6.
The southeastern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds of up to 22 m/s are expected during thunderstorms. Winds of up to 20 m/s are forecast in the Ararat valley in the evening.
Temperatures are set to gradually drop by 3-5C in the country on July 2-4, falling by 10C in Syunik Province and Artsakh.
Showers and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the Armenian capital, Yerevan, on July 1 and 2. No precipitation is forecast for July 3-6.
