Temperatures set to rise in Armenia
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in Armenia’s Syunik Province and Artsakh on July 4 as well as in some parts of Armenia on July 8, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reports, adding hailstorms are also possible. No precipitation is forecast for 5-7 July and 9 July.
The southeastern wind speed is 2-5 m/s. Strong winds of up to 22 m/s are expected during thunderstorms. Winds of up to 20 m/s are forecast in the Ararat valley in the evening.
Temperatures are set to gradually rise by 3-5C across the country on July 5-9.
No precipitation is predicted in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, from 4 to 9 July. Strong winds are expected in the city in the evening.
