Speaking at the parliamentary hearings, he said the agency is to be created as part of wide-ranging reforms implemented by the government and the ruling Civil Contract party’s parliamentary faction and covering the police, Defense Ministry and military.
"As part of these reforms, we plan to set up a separate foreign intelligence agency. The Office of the Security Council has started discussions with its partners over the creation of the new agency," Grigoryan said.
