Another quake hits Armenia-Georgia border
The Territorial Survey for Seismic Protection of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported another earthquake in the Armenia-Georgia border area late on Monday evening.
The 2.7-magnitude quake hit 14 km northeast of the village of Bavra at 10:25pm local time.
The tremors measured 3-4 points on the MSK scale at the epicenter.
The jolts were felt in two villages of Shirak Province, including Bavra and Saragyugh.
An earthquake measuring 4.4 magnitude struck the same area early on Monday morning, followed by several aftershocks.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
